Second to doing client-based work, Station Four actively works on a number of projects, some of which are design to organize and energize the local Jacksonville, Florida community.

Station Four is currently working on an web application design to help organize the local Jacksonville art community, allowing artists and galleries to promote themselves and their art. This project is currently in the planning stages and Station Four is being proactive in talking with artists and gallery owners in determining what would be of most value to them.

S4 is working on an application that makes it easier for local restaurants and establishments to connect and order from organic farms and co-ops in the surrounding areas.
Charity Work in Jacksonville and Beyond
At Station Four we try to have at least one active project for a good cause or non-profit organization on a pro bono or reduced rate basis.

Lutheran Social Services
Station Four teamed up with Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida in 2007 to take the lead on a comprehensive redesign and custom application to help LSS implement specific branding efforts, communicate with their volunteers and donors.
By teaming up with Station Four, LSS hopes to be able to be able to better serve thousands of individuals and families with needs ranging from food, shelter, and education to disease education and prevention.
Jacksonville Food Fight
Station Four worked with LSS to quickly develop the website for the Jacksonville Food Fight website and was a Gold-level sponsor for the event.
Second Harvest Food Bank of North Florida
Station Four donated its time to develop a website for the Second Harvest Food Bank of North Florida - wenourishhope.com to develop a site that was able to be dynamically updated by internal staff through a custom content management system.
Project Alaska
Project Alaska is an project organized by Jacksonville-local Cathy Parker to help raise money to build a football field for the Whalers, a high school football team in Barrow, Alaska. As their efforts began to receive national attention from ESPN and other outlets, Kathy realized the need for a professional online presence. Station Four dedicated its time to help them design and develop a website: http://www.projectalaskaturf.com
Athletes to Champions
Athletes to Champions picks up where Project Alaska successfully left off. Headed by Cathy Parker and Margie Harner, Athletes to Champions seeks to raise funds for student athletics.
