Ethical Business Practices

At Station Four we are dedicated to providing web design and development services in a professional and ethical manner. Many of our clients do not have a background in design or software development, because of this we strive to educate our clients so that they can make informed decisions.

We make sure we are upfront with you about how we price our services. We don't employ sales reps, every person you talk to at Station Four will be directly involved in your project.

ethical practices

ownership of work

At Station Four we make sure that you own what you pay for. Many web shops, when registering in domains on your behalf will put it in their name out of convenience, which means they, not you are the legal owner of your domain. We make sure you have the source files, login and passwords, and info associated with your account. This includes any pay-per-click account such as Google AdWords. If you want to manage it your self or take it somewhere else that's your choice because you own your campaign.

setting client expectations

We understand that the largest threat to a healthy client/developer relationship is when the client's expectations are not met. At Station Four we are very sensitive to ensuring that you understand every part of the process before you sign any contract and that you fully understand the implications of approving a deliverable.

S4 has no dedicated sales staff

Every representative that you talk to at Station Four is a member of the production team and understands our philosophy, the technology, and our process. We have no dedicated sales force by design, we believe clients are better served when they are working with a single point of contact throughout the life of their project.
